Life Change Coach:

Who Am I?

I’m Stephen, a life coach who supports individuals or families navigating life change, whether that change comes through personal life change, alcohol change, or disability, life having taken an unexpected turn.

My work is shaped by lived experience as well as professional training. I understand how disruptive life can feel when what you knew no longer fits, and how important it is to be met with understanding rather than judgement.

Through Coaching Self Belief, I create a safe, supportive space where people can slow things down, be heard, and reconnect with their own strength and sense of direction.

My role is to listen deeply, ask the right questions, support and encourage individuals and families as they rebuild confidence, self-trust, and belief in themselves. Coaching with me is personal, compassionate, and paced to suit the person in front of me.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: even after life has been disrupted, it’s possible to move forward in a way that feels meaningful, authentic, and right for you.

Why Did I Start Coaching?

Through my own recovery from alcohol dependency, I embarked on a meaningful journey of self-discovery. It began with rediscovering my passion for ballroom dancing, supported by a wonderful and encouraging community. I also became a Samaritan volunteer listener, an outreach supporter, and a fundraiser, which connected me with causes I cared deeply about.

One experience that had a profound impact was joining a fundraising initiative with Spinal Injuries Ireland that took me on a life-changing adventure aboard a Tall Ship. The ship (Tenacious) is purpose-built for both able-bodied and disabled people to train and work together. Being part of this experience, alongside forty others, eight in wheelchairs with their companions - allowed me to witness the incredible inner and mental strength of people living with disability, as they got on with their lives to the best of their abilities.

This journey brought more positive change and self-belief into my life. Alongside rediscovering a world without alcohol, I trained as a Life Coach, embraced new challenges in ballroom dancing, and deepened my work within the world of disability. Today, I use these experiences to help individuals find meaning, confidence, and direction through Personal Life Coaching.

Why Work With Me?

I bring lived experience, empathy, and practical guidance to help individuals and families navigate life change. My coaching is personal, compassionate, and focused on rebuilding self-belief, confidence, and direction. I don’t give answers, I help you discover your own.
